Brandon Teixeira, R.M.T.
Registered Massage Therapist

When he was 11 years old, Brandon began studying different forms of martial arts, including Ju Jitsu, TaeKwon-Do, Aikido and Boxing. This experience led him to work with many people and to understand the dynamics of the body and how it moves. The people he worked with would share their stories with him about the benefits that Massage Therapy had made to their lives. These people, their stories, and his passion to help, triggered Brandon’s journey into Massage Therapy.

"Growing up, there was always a very firm understanding that being healthy and taking care of yourself, both physically as well as mentally, was of the utmost importance. I knew that as hard as I was going to push myself, I would also have to spend an equal amount of time healing. This lifestyle, and its benefits, led me to Massage Therapy."

Brandon enjoys working with diverse health conditions. His interests lie mainly in the assessment and treatment of all soft tissues and joints of the body. When soft tissues such as muscles or fascia become very tight or “hypertonic”, the result is impaired function and reduction in well-being. Eliminating these restrictions to restore optimal function to his patients, is of the utmost importance. Brandon’s approach to Massage Therapy is very comprehensive with emphasis placed not only on therapeutic treatment, but also proper nutrition, regular safe exercise, and an encouragement of bodily awareness. Brandon encourages his clients to use Massage Therapy to be the very best they can be!

Brandon’s Massage Skills include:

  • Deep Tissue Massage

“My neck and back were in such a state that I couldn't even look to the side.

I wasn't in to have a bit of relaxing downtime; what I needed was to leave at least being able to shoulder-check! Brandon knew what he was doing and though it almost involved tears at points (seriously, a couple pressure points actually made my eyes water), I left in much better shape. I came in for another session 2 days later and the improvement was again markedly felt. I should add that I was always asked whether the pressure was okay whenever a particularly troublesome spot was targeted.

If you're genuinely hoping to treat a troublesome area, I would strongly recommend Brandon.”
