Clinical Nutrition

Clinical Nutrition involves looking at the relationship between food and health. In Naturopathic Medicine, this means making necessary dietary changes, using nutrient-rich foods and may include nutritional supplementation to promote good health and prevent disease.

Botanical Medicine

Botanical medicines consist of plants and various plant substances used in the treatment and prevention of disease. Botanical medicines can be in the form of teas, tinctures, supplements and topical ointments.

Acupuncture & Cupping

Acupuncture is the ancient Chinese practice of inserting thin solid needles into specific points in the body to promote the harmonious flow of Qi throughout the Meridians and achieve therapeutic effects. It is used to treat a variety of health conditions from musculoskeletal pain, hormonal imbalances and stress. Cupping, which uses glass or silicone cups to decompress tissues and improve blood flow, can also be used to enhance healing.

High Dose Vitamins and BHRT

All of our NDs are able to prescribe certain high dose vitamins and give Vitamin B12 shots if necessary. They are also licensed to prescribe Desiccated Thyroid (in patients with hypothyroidism) and certain individualized bio-identical hormones as compounded creams or suppositories.

Homeopathy is a non-toxic therapy using highly diluted amounts of plant, mineral or animal substance to stimulate the body’s inherent ability to heal itself by promoting organ function, detoxification and the elimination of wastes and toxins from the body.

Natural Remedies Dispensary

The benefit of our Natural Dispensary is that you won't have to spend time searching for remedies prescribed for you. We only sell remedies to patients with valid prescriptions from a Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario. Our Naturopathic Doctors continuously review natural product research and chose the highest quality and most effective products to prescribe to their patients. A common selection of these are kept in stock in the clinic. If there is a rare product that is prescribed for you, we can bring it into the dispensary inventory. We stock Physica by Aperture Energetics. Physcia products are imported from the US and are only sold to naturopathic patients. Also in stock are products by NFH, Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals and SunWarrior.

In-Person and Remote Appointments

Due to COVID-19, appointments with Naturopathic Doctors must be remote unless deemed clinically necessary by your Naturopathic Doctor. We are happy to be able to provide remote appointments by phone or Telemedicine (secure video). New patients should book a remote Free 15 Minute Consulation. Your Naturopathic Doctor will briefly discuss your health concern and determine whether a remote or in-person Initial Appointment would be appropriate.
